Done is better than perfect!

Michael is a trainer and coach in the areas of innovation, leadership and transformation / change as well as managing director and founder of Brainbirds GmbH. He is a speaker at international conferences and the author of specialist books and articles. In numerous seminars, workshops and keynotes, he has guided a large number of people to understand agile and digital transformation and to shape organizations. For many years, he has also worked with distributed teams, offering them support in live online seminars and workshops independently of time and place.

He has held various roles as a consultant, manager, managing director and board member in the consulting and software business, including Bertelsmann / webmiles, Sapient and SHS Viveon. He has extensive industry experience in the areas of telecommunications / media, financial services / insurance, chemicals / pharmaceuticals, automotive / mobility, web / eCommerce and industry / SMEs.

He received his degree in business administration and later his doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.) from the University of Munich, the London School of Economics (UK) and Arizona State University (USA).

Michael enjoys sports and does not like too many plants in the office.
