Great things never came from comfort zones.
Katja takes a hybrid approach as a coach, combining behavioral and process coaching. She empowers managers and teams to create a sustainable leadership culture and supports transformation projects within the organization. Her coaching style is characterized by authenticity, closeness, energy and positive challenges. Katja has experience in 1:1 coaching with executives and leaders, as well as in coaching cross-functional leadership teams.
Katja started her professional career in accounting in the logistics and FMCG industry. In over 11 years of corporate experience, she has held various leadership positions in finance, project management, SCM, purchasing and OD. She is a certified scrum master and scrum product owner (scrum.org) and is also certified in agile methodologies and business coaching (ICF ACTP). She was an internally certified coach at Danone, where she led agile transformation for the DACH region, and was also a scrum master and agile coach supporting cross-functional teams on strategic projects. One of her last projects at Danone was the conceptualization and implementation of an agile team cycle, based on the OKR system.
Since 2020, virtual work has made up a large part of Katja's day-to-day business. But even before the Covid pandemic, Katja was leading employees remotely in Italy. Today, she continues to accompany individuals and teams virtually as a coach or trainer and conducts workshops and training sessions.
Katja studied International Business & Management at ESB Reutlingen and completed the second half of her studies at the Universidad de las Américas in Puebla, Mexico (1.5 years). She also completed internships abroad in Spain, France, England and Italy.
In her free time, Katja enjoys being in nature, hiking and mountain climbing. She also has a keen interest in containers and logistics and could spend hours watching the comings and goings at container ports.
